About
La Cumbrecita is one of the most frequented viewpoints and short hikes on the island, due to its beauty, low difficulty, and marvellous panoramic views of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. The parking area is not very large, so it is necessary to make a free reservation in advance, for the hours between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the visitors’ centre of La Caldera de Taburiente. For visits after 4:00 p.m., no reservations are required. You can also get there at any time by taxi from the visitors centre. The normal taxi fare is €9, to be shared among the occupants.
